So this is my side of my mothers cancer journey. It might take a while to work through the past four years and it will no doubt be emotional too so please bare with me.

Why now?
Why have I decided to share this now? Simply, I blame the TV show Parenthood and watching them go through breast cancer. It got me thinking about how some cancers are well known and advocated for whilst others, like bladder cancer, aren't. Bladder cancer doesn't have a day of awareness or pretty things you can buy like ribbons or pens, you can't even donate specifically to bladder cancer research. Because it is so unknown finding information or support is difficult.
